The Races Empty

Humans:
Like in many RPs, the human race is the most common. They have well balanced attributes, able to perform any task that another race is able to do, though not as efficiently. They aren't the smartest, strongest or most agile but they are the Jack-of-all-trades.

Humans are able to learn any form of magic, or style of combat though the time it would take to master said styles would vary depending on what it was. They're brave, determined, and sometimes hard headed. They have many weaknesses, but they also have many strengths and this is what defines them. The potential to do either great good, or great evil.

The Kyokan:
The Kyokan is race created by the Avion for their own amusement. They were originally a tribe of humans from the barrens, but were genetically altered by the Avion to grow taller and stronger. They were forced to fight as gladiators in large arenas for the amusement of the Avion, and did they ever put on a good show. They are literally built for battle, averaging at over nine feet tall, 500 pounds of muscle. After the fall of the Avion race, their numbers began to dwindle and are now a endangered species.

The Kyokan tend to have short tempers and like to pick fights. Most of them simply cannot understand magic. They believe people who use magic are lazy and weak. They flaunt their superior strength and believe that the Avion were truly Angels and deserved to be worshiped. They pray for the Avion to one day return and revive their dying race of Warriors.

Elves:
The Elves are the oldest race in existence. They consider themselves to be neutral and sat idly by as the Avion dominated the world. They are proper, elegant, and have a natural affinity for magic. They were looked at as the only real threat to the Avion before the time of the Dragons. There have been wars between the elves and Avion but they only led to the population of Elves to drop, because they rarely reproduce.

Their bodies are light and nimble, but they are fragile and can't compete with many races in contests of strength. Their greatest strength is in the field of Magic and strategy. They live almost as long as the Avion, the average life expectancy of an Elf is 300 years. They are truly a race to be admired.

Gelfling
The Gelfing, is another race created by the Avion tampering with the human gene pool. They were created to be servants for the higher class Avion. The average height of a Gelfling is about three and a half feet. In order to properly serve the Avions they had to have some magical ability in order to use most of the Avion appliances.

Most of them are quite reliable and trustworthy, always happy to help those in need. They are much like hobbits from the lord of the rings. They live not too far underground, they farm, they like to have parties and festivals, etc... They are all around friendly.

The Avion
Once he overlords of the world, now an endangered race. The Avion were once the most powerful of all races, able to raise entire cities from the ground using Magic. The Avion have large feathered wings, silver hair and firey red eyes. They have great Pride and willpower, able to cling to life on the brink of death. Their magic is actually their life essence. If they chose not to use Magic, they could potentially live for thousands of years, but Magic is extremely addictive. The more magic they use, the faster they age.

Their numbers have dropped below a thousand and are forced to live in secrecy. Either living in seclusion in places only reachable through the use of Magic, or disguising themselves as Humans and living in the humans Kingdom. Their excessive use of magic throughout the years they were the dominant race has left them weak, and only half as strong as they once were.
